A year ago I bought some mexican kingwood from a specialty exotic wood supplier in California. It is the most expensive wood I have ever seen. When I finally milled it I understood why. The kingwood is bright purple with swirls into yellow. Here it is the rim on a simple maple bowl with just a little flair. Maple and mexican kingwood. 8.75″ x 3.5″
