Description
An old friend wanted a bowl made from ash and wenge. I had some wenge and a neighbor gave me some ash. Little did I know that both woods are hard to turn, but for opposite reasons. The Wenge is soft and has open pores on the end grain, which the ash is quite hard . I don’t think I’ll turn either of these again, but I learned about both woods. Wenge and ash. 5″ x 3″
