A cherry base with a thicker padauk rim. I’ve started calling this straighter-sided bowl “Fruit Bowl Style.” Although padauk doesn’t always keep its bright color when exposed to sunlight, I’ll be putting a few extra coats of clear protectant that should help it stay red for quite some time.
