All the bowls I make ship with a minimum of three coats of General Finishes Top Coat, just like my wood sculptures. The first two are brushed on for a thick layer, sanding with extra fine grit sandpaper between layers. The last coat is sprayed on to make sure the finish is even and super smooth.
