I got this wood from a neighbor who has a tree business. Unfortunately he wasn’t there to tell me what it is. I think it might be birch, but it has wonderful color and spalting. It dried very unevenly, so in the end it isn’t even oval, but just generally round-ish. Birch. 6.5″ x 4″
